Scope
This group coordinates all EBU work in the video domain end-to-end, covering UHDTV, HDR, MXF, HFR, etc.
Objectives
To help Members make well-informed decisions on video production by providing practical guidance, especially on on codec quality, colour science, HDR workflows, and format standards, which are essential to guarantee good quality (e.g. for international sports events).
This group maintains relevant EBU technical specifications and recommendations, contributes to international standards processes (e.g. DVB, ITU-R, SMPTE, WEC), and provides a forum for Members and industry to share experience and address common challenges in video production and delivery.
