French National Audiovisual Institute (INA) is the Guardian of the French audiovisual heritage. INA has been testing and developing AI tools for some time, in order to face the struggling challenge of collecting, describing and analyzing hundreds of thousands of TV and radio programmes every year. This presentation covers their work on the automatic analysis of TV broadcast livestreams, especially news, which don't have reliable planning schedules that could be used for metadata.
