The EBU’s Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) represents one of the most ambitious digital transformations in broadcast and media infrastructure in decades. While much of the discussion so far has focused on technical architecture, Willem Vermost sets out the business case for DMF on page 9 of the December 2025 issue of tech-i magazine. On page 17, Brad Gilmer of the Advanced Media Workflow Association introduces a new joint task force to help make DMF a reality.
