Broadcasters participating are: BBC, Czech TV, DR, NRK, RAI, RSI, SWR,TRT, TVP, VRT and ZDF
World class
When Broadcasters invest in HD cameras, they wish to optimize their technical and creative skills in setting up and manipulating the devices. Broadcasters want the cameras to be able to produce according to their expectations, to make HDTV productions look world class and clearly competitive.
Helping technical staff reach this objective is the aim of the first EBU workshop of this kind. It will help EBU Members to become the best-of-the-best in creating astonishing HDTV images. The course is led by ex-BBC and world class expert Alan Roberts and deals with theory and best practise, but it focusses on the practical use of different type of cameras.
Various cameras
Various types of shooting are addressed, including live shooting, multi-camera and single camera set ups. Above all, the course allows participating teams to work with the camera types they use at their own broadcasting organisation. Manufacturers such as Sony, Panasonic, Ikegami, Hitachi, Thomson-GVG, RED and ARRI are providing the required equipment. The famous location, together with a strong support team and BBC experts provide the perfect surroundings for this course!
