The EBU is not only exhibiting at the IBC (stand 10.D21), EBU Members and staff are also visiting other booths. EBU 3D-TV Study Group chairman Andy Quested (BBC) is leading a visit to 10+ companies active in the 3D scene, while IRT's Larissa Görner (chair DFXP Group) is guiding a number of visits to subtitling companies (mostly for 2D by the way).
3D tour The aim of the 3D company visits is to help EBU Members make decisions about 3D and to inform them of the current state of acquisition, post and delivery technologies. The companies were selected based on input from the Members in the Group. If you are an EBU Member and you would like to join the tour, simply go to the 3D tour schedule and add your name to the visits you want to participate in. If you don't have access yet, join the Group here first. In case you prefer standing instead of walking, you may want to attend the 3D Group's informal meeting at the EBU booth on Saturday @ 17h30. That offers a nice way to meet 3D-interested colleagues. Add your name here if you want to be sure to have a drink!

If you are an EBU Member or subtitle equipment user, and you would like to join the tour, go to the Subtitling tour schedule and add your name to the visits you want to participate in.
