Join us for the last veraAI webinars on co-creation and on C2PA

The veraAI project set off in 2022 to build trustworthy AI solutions against advanced disinformation techniques. Three years later, the project has produced a number of groundbreaking tools for fact-checkers, journalists and other media professionals, and defined new powerful processes for developing and integrating such tools into user workflows. Now, the EBU's webinar series on the innovative research that has taken place in the project, is coming to an end with two final and exciting instalments.

On 3 September, EBU and DW will discuss the crucial involvement of end-users in the development of trustworthy fact-checking tools, in the webinar on "Co-creating veraAI fact-checking tools for and with media professionals".

During the webinar on "Trusted content provenance and authentication with C2PA" on 9 September, the EBU will present how the C2PA standard for provenance and authentication can work hand-in-hand with AI verification tools against disinformation, through a series of proof-of.concepts combining C2PA with veraAI tools, as illustrated in this report.

Both webinars target anyone interested in how to approach AI and disinformation, and are open to EBU Members and Associates, as well as other media professionals.

The veraAI project is co-financed by the European Union, Horizon Europe programme, Grant Agreement No 101070093, with additional funding from Innovate UK grant No 10039055 and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) under contract No 22.00245.
