The advent of advanced video and audio formats for UHD/HDR and Next Generation Audio, as well as requirements for broadcasters to pipe these assets not only through conventional broadcast chains but also to provision them for on-demand delivery, bears lots of challenges. Migrating infrastructures to IP is yet another one.
To help simplify these processes, the Dolby Repository File has been defined, based upon common standards like OP1a, SMTPE ST 378 and DPP AS-11. Combined with ADM/S-ADM, this Mezzanine file format also allows to migrate legacy (deprecated) DolbyE assets and make them fit for new operation environments and play-out scenarios.
This webinar is organised by the EBU Audio Systems/ADM Implementers Group, ADM-IG. Join us via https://tech.ebu.ch/groups/as.
