The European Parliament in Brussels is hosting the EBU Digital Radio Conference on 12th October. This year it is complemented by a special live radio talk show on the day before the conference.
Live, visual and hybrid
| The talk show consists of a French part, produced by EBU Member RTBF and a an English part, organised by the EBU, with Lotta Bromé as presenter. The broadcast can be followed via DAB+ in Brussels and it is streamed over the internet. A novelty is that the programme will also be both visual and hybrid.
This special operation is realised live using the open services and tools developed by EBU TECHNICAL:
- Radio DNS manager: to enable hybrid radio; - Content manager: to produce visual content on the fly. - Web player: to stream the visual content via the web.
All content is produced in a single operation and distributed to the different delivery platforms. It includes aggregated RSS feeds and live pictures.
