Starting from this month all users with an EBU TECHNICAL account will receive a monthly Newsletter, highlighting some of the recent and upcoming technical activities. The EBU TECHNICAL Newsletter replaces the former 'publication alerts', which signalled new technical publications available on the EBU website.
Highlights
EBU TECHNICAL director Lieven Vermaele explains: "The Newsletter is meant to regularly update Members and other interested individuals on what is going on 'in Geneva'. We recognised it was not always easy for people to follow our technical activities and this is one of the means by which we aim to improve our communication to the outside world. Of course we can only highlight a few activities per Newsletter, but with 12 Newsletters a year we can cover quite some ground."
You can start or stop receiving the EBU TECHNICAL Newsletter by changing the preferences in your profile settings. If you don't have a (free) account on tech.ebu.ch yet, you can create one here.
