Practical information
Conference venue
The Technical Assembly will be held at the ICE Krakow Congress Centre in the Chambre Hall on the third floor. Lunches will be served on site.
Dress code
The standard dress code during the working day is business to business casual.
- Welcome reception on Wednesday 10 June: business casual
- Dinner on Thursday 11 June: business casual
- Farewell dinner on Friday 12 June: casual and comfortable. Ladies, preferred footwear is flat or low heels. It is recommended to bring a long-sleeved garment, for example a jacket or thin sweater that can be worn during the visit of the Salt Mines, however, the restaurant temperature is constant and it will not be cold.
- Excursion on Saturday 13 June: no special attire just comfortable shoes!
Climate
Poland has a temperate climate. In summer the temperatures can reach +30°C. For more information, click here.
Money
The Polish currency is the Zloty (PLN). There are 100 groszy coins to 1 Zloty. Poland is not a member of the Euro currency system. For more information, click here.
Electricity
Electricity in Poland is 230V, 50Hz AC. Plug sockets are round with two round-pin sockets.

Call “112”. The operator will ask which service you would like: Fire, Police, Ambulance.
