Scope
The Newsroom Transformation Forum facilitates the exchange of ideas and learnings between EBU Members on newsroom-related workflows. As newsrooms across public service media organisations adapt to digital production environments, AI-assisted tools, and changing editorial practices, the need for cross-organisational knowledge sharing has never been greater. The NTF provides a practical forum where Members can discuss what's working, what isn't, and how to navigate the challenges of newsroom transformation in ways that preserve editorial quality and journalistic integrity.
Objectives
We help Members learn from each other's experiences in newsroom transformation, covering areas such as digital production systems, AI-assisted journalism tools, workflow integration, and organisational change management. We share case studies, run discussions on common challenges, and provide a space where newsroom technologists and editorial leaders can connect across PSM organisations.
