EBU Members were invited to attend the World Broadcasting Unions’ International Satellite Operations Group (WBU-ISOG) Forum in November 2012 at EBU headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. In particular colleagues involved in news operations and/or special events coverage were invited to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge that was presented during the Forum.
The WBU-ISOG Forum agenda incorporated a wide variety of issues, many of them new, including: UHDTV 4K & 8K, HEVC Compression, DSNG Parameters, Updates on International Networks, Winning the Interference War and a full Satellite Operators Panel.
