Personalization as a public service: NPO's automated approach


The EBU Products Kaizen group invites all EBU members (employees of public service media in Europe) to the second out of three showcases where we look at how we apply personalization in our digital products. This time we’re very happy to have Dutch broadcaster NPO as guests and speakers.

Session Overview

NPO's homepage is fully automated with general and personalized recommendations. Going a step further than commercial companies, NPO combines personalization with public values and trades-off engagement with discovery. In this talk, you'll get to know how this is done, but also how this serves the Dutch public from a public service point of view.

After the showcase there will be a panel discussion, as well as the option for those who attend to ask questions or comments around this topic.
