As part of identifying the biggest barriers prohibiting EBU Members to exploit their archives, the EBU organized his Roundtable to come to a better understanding of the workflows and tools needed to improve access to archived audiovisual material. Such tools include, for example: automatic metadata extraction, video indexing and annotation. The recent developments in AI technology have renewed interest in this domain.
