In this talk, Movielabs' Senior Vice President Production Technology and Security, Spencer Stephens explains the reasons for his company's chosen security model – zero-trust coupled with security by design. Cloud and hybrid-cloud infrastructures and workflows for production are very complex to secure with traditional perimeter-based security. In contrast, Movielabs' chosen zero-trust approach assumes that intruders are already inside the wall. This approach permits security models that do not interfere with the creative process, Steven explains.
