This document provides a high level view of the components and principles that require careful consideration when an SLA for media transport services is negotiated with network service providers.
A definition of SLA in the Scope of Media Transport is provided and the key differences from a pure telecom or IT SLA are discussed (new version, Sept. 2014). Tech 3361-2 (Glossary) and Tech 3361-3 (Technical Parameters) are complementary documents.
