For the past couple of years, the AI and Data Initiative (AIDI) has held a series of monthly sessions called Spotlight, with every session giving an EBU Member organization the opportunity to present their own work in the field of AI and data.

The aim of these sessions is to allow participants to get an overview of the state of the art, meet the people behind projects, encourage exchanges, learn from other organizations, and understand how this work is shaped and structured elsewhere.

This time, the AIDI is turning the spotlight on the EBU itself, as the Union’s various teams and departments invite us to discover their work in the field of AI and data. The session is held online on 26 June, 16:00-17:30 CEST.

Participants will be greeted by staff from EBU Technology & Innovation, News, Sports, Media, Legal & Policy, International Relations, EBU Academy and the MIS team, who will give them an overview of the ways in which the EBU is at the forefront of AI and data to support public service media.

Please contact Lalya Gaye for more information about how to register for AIDI Spotlights, if you are not already an AIDI member.
