Making progress

The “JT-NM Roadmap of Open Interoperability” is jointly produced by the EBU, the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and the Video Services Forum (VSF). These four organizations are the sponsors of the Joint Task Force on Networked Media (JT-NM).

The latest version of the roadmap is available from: tech.ebu.ch/publications/jt-nm-roadmap

The Joint Task Force strongly believes that open interoperability in professional networked media is essential and that this interoperability must be developed in a coherent way. Together the partners will ensure that interoperability will continue evolving over the next few years, in accordance with the pre-planned roadmap, and that there is solid communication between different industry efforts.  This will result in a strong foundation upon future media businesses can be built.
