The first draft programme for the 2016 Digital Radio Summit, held at the European Broadcasting Union on 10 February in Geneva, Switzerland, is now out. Next year’s theme is “Radio Anywhere.”

On your phone, on the road, in your home – nowadays everyone wants radio anytime and anywhere without hassle. But how close to this reality are we? What barriers to broadcasters face when producing for radio? Is digital really here? These are some of the main questions that will be raised at the next Summit.

Our keynote speaker, Graham Dixon (EBU) will set the stage for this discussion in his opening address, “Making radio modern.” Delegates will have the unique opportunity to hear from EBU Members and the industry as they showcase their developments in our proud to present session.

We will also take a closer look at hybrid radio: everything you need to know, but were afraid to ask; aggregating data; and, personalization. All of these will be essential elements for the future of radio.

Spaces are limited, so sign up now. The annual Digital Radio Summit takes place during the EBU Radio Week and just after the EBU RadioHack event. Delegates have the opportunity to network with experts from the radio community who come together to share ideas, experience and inspiration for the future.
