Net Neutrality
Net neutrality is the principle that internet service providers and governments should treat all data on the internet equally, not discriminating or charging differentially by user, content, site, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or mode of communication. It is important for public service broadcasters to continue to support and advocate for net neutrality to ensure their services are equally accessible by all on the internet.
How can EBU T&I help?
Our Project Group on Net Neutrality helps Members to unite their positions on broadband network neutrality. We do so by combining efforts in the EBU (technology & innovation, legal, public affairs and strategic information services) and in Brussels to provide expertise and ensure that you receive the information you need. With your feedback in mind, we facilitate the process for drafting documents and initiatives around net neutrality at the EU level. We encourage you to share your experiences from the national level so that we can appropriately represent your interests at the European level.
