Most household today have at least one Smart TV that can both receive traditional TV-channels and run interactive applications. Most of these sets support a version of HbbTV (Hybrid Broadband Broadcast TV), a standard specifying the use of broadcast integrated applications on Smart TVs.

The HbbTV & DVB-I Interoperability group is designed for broadcasters to share best-practices in HbbTV and DVB-I. The group will also work to improve the interoperability of HbbTV in the markets EBU Members are active.
