FORECAST 2017 - 20th Anniversary

How will media content be delivered in five, ten or 15 years’ time? As consumption patterns, media genres and distribution technologies evolve, EBU Members are seeking to position themselves appropriately and to balance long-term cost, market share considerations and their PSM remit.

The EBU’s FORECAST seminar has been guiding Members through the media distribution maze for two decades. The scope of the event has gradually widened from a focus on technical aspects of terrestrial broadcast to a higher-level strategic treatment of media distribution technologies.
