This event invites media outlets, vendors and professionals to discuss, coordinate and drive the implementation of C2PA-based content provenance tracing technology. Is is organized by EBU, BBC, IPTC and Media Cluster Norway.
This is the third in a series of C2PA summits, with two others previously held in Salford and Paris. There were excellent conversations, a lot of progress on scoping what needs to be done to implement C2PA in the news industry, and a number of focused workshops that were launched as a result of the first two events.
This third Summit will be hosted by Media Cluster Norway on Tuesday 23 September 2025, in the city of Bergen, on the beautiful Mount Fløyen. It will include a status report on the relevant standards and their use and what has been achieved throughout the industry so far, and then dive into a co-creation session with media and vendors on how to implement C2PA in practice in media workflows. The programme will also focus on next steps for the industry.
