The ADM Production and Emission Profiles

Note: This webinar has been was rescheduled from 15 April to 20 May due to an availability issue. Previously existing registrations have been moved accordingly.

ADM is the most comprehensive metadata model to describe all conceivable properties and features audio can have. Therefore, it's a complex language, written in XML. And yet both: open and flexible. In order to handle this complexity, there need to be "profiles", defining requirements and constraints of various use cases and application scenarios.

Some months ago, EBU has published TECH 3393, a completely new version of the ADM Production Profile. In order to allow for broader compatibility, ITU-R BS.2168, the "Advanced Sound Systems Emission Profile" describes as sub-set of ADM, the common denominator that is to enable and ensure interoperability for delivery. Both major NGA solutions, in addition, also have respective ADM profiles defined.

This webinar is organised by the EBU Audio Systems/ADM Implementers Group, ADM-IG. Join us via https://tech.ebu.ch/groups/as.
