This LED Production Workshop was hosted by Leyard in Reutlingen (Germany). Together with industry partners Brompton, Egripment, Grass Valley, KST, Panasonic, and ZeroDensity, a studio set-up was created featuring a large LED wall, side panel, multiple cameras, a crane, virtual scenery, camera-tracking, etc. In this ad-hoc studio various typical broadcast scenarios were tested by the participating EBU Members.
Learnings
The workshop provided hands-on learnings regarding the strenghts of and challenges in using LED wall technology for multicam TV productions and the mixing of UnReal-based virtual sets with camera-captured video.
