Leave no one behind – Accessibility using HbbTV

The EBU's HbbTV-DVB-i group has been analysing the options for using HbbTV to provide Accessibility services, focussing on subtitles, sign language interpretation, audio descriptions, and enhanced accessibility audio. A first version of the 'Guidelines for delivering Accessibility services using HbbTV' has now been published by the EBU. This Webinar outlined elements of the publication and gathered views from the community.

The HbbTV-app is found in a growing number of TV receivers in many countries. It allows users, with appropriate connections, combined access to both broadcast and internet content.
