The following list represents the companies or institutions which, according to Via Licensing as previous manager of the TV-Anytime patent pool, claimed to be holding essential patents related to the TV-Anytime specification. This information was publicly available and accessible on the Via Licensing website until it was removed after the licensing programme ceased to exist.
