Minimum user requirements regarding the ensemble of technologies that a Media Node needs to support to enable administrators to efficiently build, operate and maintain an IP architecture based on the SMPTE ST 2110 standards. This is version 3.0, which is a significant update of the publication.
This document presents the requirements of the EBU user community regarding IP-based facilities. It is aimed at broadcasters and system integrators who need to define and design their requirements for a live IP infrastructure, and provides manufacturers and the wider industry with a clear understanding of what users expect from mature IP Studio equipment.
