In 2020 the EBU again co-organized with Christophe Massiot (Upipe) and Kieran Kunhya (Open Broadcast) the Open Media Devroom at the annual Developers Conference FOSDEM.

The Open Media room every year focusses on Free & Open Source media projects. This includes audio & video applications, standards, formats, codecs, etc.
