The new EBU TECHNICAL structure includes a new Expert Community called “Platforms and Services” or ECP. As the name indicates, we would like to bring together all EBU engineering and expert potential dealing with the different platforms and services. We would like to build a very strong EBU community of experts who will be able to play an important role in the international standardisation processes within DVB, DLNA, OIPF, W3C, IETF, HbbTV and others. Much emphasis will be given to studying web applications and mix broadcast/internet systems and services.
This webinar provided EBU Members with an initial information about the scope of ECP activities, its objectives, its organisation and about its future plans.
