EBU @ IBC 2022


Every year, the EBU represents its Members at the annual IBC Exhibition and Conference, with demonstrations, meet-ups, networking opportunities and conference sessions. The EBU stand is located at 10.D21 (Hall 10, space D21 – the same position as in previous years, but with a new address).

 

What we showed

  • The 5G-MAG Reference Tools​ for connected media
  • 5G-based production with a SMPTE ST 2110 gateway developed by the 5G-RECORDS project​
  • The 'German DVB-I Pilot' – a new cross-organisational initiative that exploits opportunities for a future-proof TV experience
  • From data to knowledge – with a serverless automatic metadata extraction with MCMA and the EBU Core+ ontology
  • The News Pilot and EuroVOX sytems, which break down language barriers for content exchange and underpin the 'A European Perspective' content exchange
  • The Peach recommender suite for transparent content recommendations
  • Live HDR workflow best practice to help improve quality and efficiency​ for content producers and distributors
