Together with its Members and industry partners, the EBU generates and maintains a set of test sequences in different formats for research and assessment. Over the past the years the test content has evolved from HDTV to 3DTV and now to UHDTV with HDR and HFR.

UHD HDR HFR
2160p/100 HLG (uncompressed and XAVC) material was produced during an EBU-led project at the EAC 2018 in Berlin. This material is NOT restricted to EBU Members. You can find more detailed information here. To order an SSD drive with the sequences, send an e-mail to: tech@ebu.ch.
UHD HDR
Recordings of the studio scene used at the EBU HDR Workshop @ SWR can be found here. Note you will have to be logged in to see this material. The amount of material visible depends on your Membership status.
2160p/50 HDR material was produced by EBU Member RTS (SRG/SSR) at the Montreux Jazz Festival 2017. A number of sequences is available for EBU Members. If you are an EBU Member interested to receive a copy, please send us an e-mail and we will send you the download instructions.
