EBU TECHNICAL is looking for an open-minded, innovative Project Engineer to work in the domain of content creation, production, and contribution network technology. The new EBU engineer will benefit from an IT and broadcast technology background, including topics such as:
- IT and networks, file transfer protocols and network technologies
- Real-time compressed and uncompressed AV transfers via IP
- Non-linear storage technologies
- Network and storage design for professional broadcast production environments
- Network management, SLA and QoS
- File formats, such as MXF and AAF and technical metadata.
Besides technical qualifications, excellent communication skills are a must.
