Description

1. To organise and supervise EBU collective studies in the area of technical activities related to programme production and archiving, such as television and radio production systems, new media production, work-flow, operating and maintenance practices.

2. To form Project Groups to undertake the appropriate studies.

3. To contribute to the work of relevant international organisations as necessary and appropriate such as, SMPTE, AES, ITU, IEC and ISO.

4. To organise meetings, (workshops, seminars, etc.) in order to inform and consult all Members in relation to the mandate of the Committee.

5. To provide regular progress reports to the Technical Committee, to respond to requests from the Technical Committee, and to identify and propose to the Technical Committee new work areas as the need arises.
