Tech Review 224 a Modulation and channel coding for broadcasting to mobile receivers 31 Aug 1987

This article explains the benefits of using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) to overcome the adverse effects of severe multipath propagation, such as occurs in mobile reception. The feasibility of implementing such a system for the domestic market is briefly discussed.
